The problem it solves

To register an imported vehicle, the registration office requires its certificate of conformity (COC). Only the manufacturer issues the document, and every brand has its own desk, procedure, lead times and fees. Someone importing a car once in their life discovers all of that at the moment they least need it.

SwissCOC takes the procedure off your hands. The chassis number is enough to learn the brand, the price and the lead time; you order online, the file goes to the manufacturer within 24 working hours, and the original certificate arrives by post.

What is a certificate of conformity (COC)?

The official document issued by the manufacturer certifying that a vehicle matches the type approved in the European Union (Regulation 2018/858, Annex IX). It is required to register an imported vehicle.

How long does it take to receive the COC?

From 5 to 40 working days depending on the manufacturer, as a guide: the manufacturer alone issues the document. The lead time observed for your brand is shown as soon as the chassis number is checked.

Is the certificate an original?

Yes. SwissCOC produces no document itself: you receive the original issued by the manufacturer, with its security features, together with your invoice.
